DEXA Body Composition​

Forget about BMI and bioelectrical impedance machines.

​DEXA Body Composition is the most accurate and precise medical grade technology (FDA approved) used to determine quantities of body fat, muscle mass and bone health.

Employees will get a baseline study to determine the precise quantity of fat (in pounds) distributed among the arms, torso, pelvis, and legs.

Resting Metabolic Rate

Losing weight means losing muscle, fat and bone, all at once... NOT HEALTHY!

Utilizing the Korr Reevue FDA approved for medical practices, employees will find out how many calories their body burns at rest according to their specific body composition.

This is referred to as RESTING METABOLIC RATE (RMR).

The machine uses the RMR to calculate how many calories per day the employee needs to consume in order to lose fat and maintain muscle and bone, thus managing weight in a healthier way.

Osteoporosis Screening

When was the last time any of your employees considered their bone health?

As we age, bone tends to lose mineral content resulting in soft fragile bones (osteoporosis) which affects 10 million americans, the majority being women.

While this screening is mainly targeted to female employees with at least three risk factors, mature men can also benefit from getting scanned to determine bone health.

The employees will receive a screening at the level of the ankle, if results are abnormal, the report must be sent to the employee's primary physician for further assessment, this is a Texas DSHS regulation.
