Things to know! 

• As a patient and a consumer, you have the right to chose where to get your imaging exams.  
• Every time you get an x-ray exam ask your technologist to shield your gonads. 
• Technologist do not provide diagnosis but they can assist you with any exam related questions/concerns. 
• Avoid metals, hard plastics in the area where you are having the x-ray done. 
• X-ray exposure is never 100% safe but a professional technologist will keep exposure risk at its minimum.
• In the State of Texas you cannot get an x-ray done without a doctors orders.
